Wrapping Gifts and Not Enjoying it!

I usually enjoy wrapping gifts but today as I wrapped up Sydney's and started putting them in her box I honestly felt sick. I love sending her boxes but the idea that these were her Christmas gifts and that I would not be able to see her open them made my heart sink. I am hoping that the friends she spends the day with will take some pictures so that I can see her open them.

I knew her going away for college was going to be hard but I had no idea how hard it would hit me at the most unexpected times.

I will say that despite how much I miss her I am very proud of her! I knew she would do good and that God would take care of her but watching it actually unfold is incredible. My mom used to say you will understand when you have kids all the time and she was right. The feelings that my children invoke are like no other. I feel so humbled that God let me to be their momma.
