Back Home
We are back home from taking Sydney to school, we got home Sunday night around 11:00. I was so exhausted both physically and mentally! All day Monday I was pretty useless and cried at the drop of a hat, the last two days have been better.
Going to church tonight without her was very strange and as I saw her friends pass by I wanted to cry but managed not to. I am very thankful to everyone who has prayed for us and offered me encouragement, it has helped.
Syd and I get to talk several times a day and she seems to be doing well. Her biggest obstacle seems to be learning her away around town.
She was able to transfer to a Joann's fabric store there and will start work on Tuesday and for that we are very thankful. Also classes start on Monday so this coming week will be a very busy week for her as she gets settle into her new schedule.
I plan to start school with the boys August 31which is a little later than normal for us but I need the time to work on lesson plans and getting the rest of their stuff ready.

So glad Sydney's getting settled in. You will do fine! If you're at all like me, you'll get busy with everyday life, and before you know it, her first year of college will be ending. Sam is entering his third year - already halfway done, and I can hardly believe 2 years have gone by so quickly! Hang in there!
I have stayed very busy this week! You would not believe the stuff I have cleaned. Sewing was a lost cause the first few days because I could not focus but as you said it would, it is getting better.
Of course I did cry today at church, just not having her there in "her seat" was overwhelming to me.
