Day With My Honey
My mom called yesterday and asked if she could borrow her grandkids for the day today. The kids enjoy being with her and it really brightens her day so off they went at 9:00 am.
Scott and I enjoyed our day picking up some things at Home Depot we needed and then doing some yard work. After the yard work I made baked potatoes in the microwave and then we wrapped them in foil and put them on the grill with some skewered shrimp, they were fabulous!While we ate we watched a movie and chit chatted. The entire day was slow and relaxed even while we worked in the yard and garden.
Thanks mom for watching the kids! They had fun and Scott and I enjoyed our time alone.
